On a sporting wicket at Delgany (Plymouth) West Devon posted a good total of 145. Extras being the top scorer, however there were key contributions throughout the team, notably Joe Hagan-Burt 13* and Matt Petherbridge 12. The West side were never able to push their score on through the innings as the North Devon bowlers kept taking wickets, Fenton Davies and Charlie Webb were the pick of the bowlers. In reply North Devon struggled to get any momentum and have a go at the 145 posted by the West, as the two early wickets and excellent bowling by Joe Hagan-Burt 1 for 6 from 6 over’s and Jamie Bailey 1 for 6 kept the visitors always chasing the game. However fighting back for the North was Charlie Webb (29*) and managed to build partnerships with the lower middle order to push up to 121-8 and secure the losing draw.
